*Large photo finishers provide consistent quality cardboard mounts. This is important in maintaining reliable focus throughout a presentation. An embossed cardboard-mounted slide with a curved-field lens provides high image quality at low cost.
** Non-embossed cardboard mounts provide consistent quality cardboard mounts from slide to slide, but do not have a beveled edge around the aperture.
NOTE: All ratings are based on proper insertion of the slide for projection: i.e., emulsion side toward the lens, slide curve toward the light source.
